These Palo Santo sticks from Luna Sundara are nature's "holy wood" and comes from the deep jungles of Peru. When burned, Palo Santo has a unique aroma that can help deepen spiritual moments of meditation and contemplation. - Each stick is roughly 4" long (although, please be aware that due to the natural state of these pieces, they may slightly vary)
- Sustainably harvested in the wilds of Peru
- Only comes from trees that die in a natural way, where the oil is secreted and aquired during the decomposition process
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Burning Instructions
- Light the tip of the stick
- Let the wood burn for less than a minute and blow out the flame
- Let the stick smolder to releases its aromas
*Please note that you may need to continually re-light the Palo Santo stick to get a proper burn*
HISTORY
Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is a tree that’s native to Peru, Ecuador, and other South American countries. It grows in dry tropical forests and produces very fragrant resin. In Spanish, palo santo means “holy wood.”
For thousands of years, the wood, resin, and oil have been used for medicinal purposes.
